Press and Media

We are the charity that is getting people walking again in sub-Saharan Africa. Through re-purposing prosthetic legs that would otherwise end up in landfills and facilitating amputee-led support groups, we are giving thousands of people a year the ultimate leg-up.
Our overall goal is to ensure amputees across sub-Saharan Africa have access to the technology, the services and the knowledge they need to live independent lives. Since 2014, we have recycled over 10,000 legs and shipped over 9,000 of them to Africa.
